ready...set...FACEBOOK!
Facebook. It's a common term, title, or phrase that everyone that's anyone know of. Let's face it, the number of facebook "creepers" is sky rocketing as we speak (or as I type and you read). Sure, it's understandable to want to be connected with your peers and maintain a social life regardless of busy schedules, but good lord. I find myself listening to a friend's story already knowing the ending because so and so had it posted as their status the night before. Is there going to be a time when we teens aren't using our phones, computer, or ipods? I'm not hatin' on the common teen, because of course I myself do the same exact thing. But guess what..? It's not just us teens! To all you old-school adults out there: OLD PEOPLE CREEP TOO! I once logged on and 23 of my 27 notifications were from people over the age of 30. Whether it be aunts, pastors, mothers of friends, distant cousins, teachers, or even GRANDMAS, facebook has it's effect on everyone. Is there a point in which the constant status updates, farmville, or bumper stickers becomes too much? I, Ellen Scott, unfortunately find myself morphing into a facebook obsessed teen..and I don't really mind.

Ellen,
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to say that I do find it a little weird that I am friends with my aunts, uncles, and...grandma... on facebook.
Everyone of every age is addicted! This is madness!
